Accessibility and Support Services for Individuals with Disabilities and Limited Internet Access
We are committed to ensuring that all individuals—including those with disabilities or limited internet access—can access and reclaim unclaimed property in a fair, dignified, and accessible manner. Our services are designed to remove barriers and provide accommodations to support a wide range of claimant needs.
Support for Individuals with Disabilities
To better serve individuals with disabilities, we offer the following accommodations on eligible cases:
- In-Person Notary Services: When a claimant is unable to travel or access a notary due to a disability, we coordinate in-person notary appointments to assist with completing required documents.
- Accessible Document Formats: Upon request, forms and instructions can be provided in large print, braille, or other accessible formats to support those with visual or cognitive impairments.
These measures align with our obligation to provide equal access in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other relevant accessibility standards.
Services for Those Without Internet Access
We recognize that not all individuals have access to digital resources. To ensure equitable participation, we provide:
- Document Requests by Mail: Claimants may request that all necessary claim materials be sent via U.S. mail, including affidavits and instructions.
- Paper-Based Claim Submission: All stages of the claim process may be completed entirely through physical mail, with no requirement to access or submit documents online.
- Telephone Support: Assistance is available by phone for initiating claims, requesting forms, and receiving updates, allowing claimants to move forward without relying on digital tools.
Our Commitment
We are dedicated to ensuring that no eligible individual is left behind due to physical, technological, or logistical limitations. Every claimant deserves the opportunity to reclaim their property with confidence and ease. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request, and support is just a phone call or letter away.
